Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

DAERO is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a passion for system design and scalability.

You’ll work across the stack—from AWS infrastructure to event-driven backend systems and modern web interfaces—to build resilient, real-time products.

What you'll do:

  • Design and implement distributed systems and event-driven microservices.
  • Architect for scalability using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Work on CQRS, CDC, and streaming architectures to handle fan-out growth.
  • Collaborate closely with product and AI teams to integrate intelligent backend features.
  • Build performant frontend experiences with React / Next.js (or equivalent frameworks).

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • You love full-stack development.
  • Strong knowledge of system design, microservices, and AWS infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with at least one modern frontend framework.
  • Experience optimizing large-scale systems for performance and reliability.

Compensation disclosure:

DAERO welcomes candidates across a wide range of experience levels and skill sets. We hire first for character, craft, and impact; then align scope, title, and compensation accordingly. The US base salary range for this full-time role is $130,000-$240,000 + equity + benefits. Offers are location-adjusted, and may differ from the US benchmark depending on where you live, in addition to your skills and experience.
